Faith Formation Commission

The Faith Formation Commission has the responsibility to promote programs to help people learn more about their faith. They are committed to provide opportunities to deepen the faith of our community through prayer, study and discussion, to better reflect the light of Christ.

Sometimes this is done in an educational setting like catechesis for children in religious education, or in liturgical setting, such as children's Liturgy of the Word. The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) happens in small group situation for people who want to share their faith with those interested in becoming Catholic. Pre-Cana couples mentor those preparing for marriage while the Little Rock Scripture group studies the Bible.

The Commission is also in charge of Adult Faith Formation. In the past year we have sponsored a day of recollection, a women's retreat, a men's retreat, Lenten groups for Disciples in Mission, the "Little Books" for Advent, Lent and Easter, and the summer book discussion! In past years we planned the Mission and Lenten Soup Suppers, and a speaker series.

Have you participated in our offerings? Are you transforming yourself as Jesus asks? Have you grown in your faith?

We meet the first Wednesday of each month at 6:30 PM for one hour in the Parish Center. ALL ARE WELCOME!
